Jill Berhalter - Ms. Wild Blue Yonder 2007

Jill is a San Diego native, born at the Balboa Naval Hospital and raised in Santee. Her father was in the Navy retiring after 21 years of service as a Master Chief. He served on a variety of ships, including the USS New Jersey and USS Constellation. For four years Jill has worked at the Gillespie Field Café. With pilots as her regular customers she had developed a fascination with aircraft and flying. She loves the military warbirds for their speed and toughness, built to the world's highest standards. Her favorites are the Hawker Hurricane and the Grumman Tigercat.

Jill is looking forward to helping Air Group One promote pride in the aviation heritage of our nation, especially the military aviation which since WWII has been instrumental in decisively winning wars where our very freedom was at risk. Come on out to the air show and meet Ms Wild Blue Yonder, this year's Wings Over Gillespie Air Show hostess!
